Do They Make Dresses Smaller These Days?

Well, it is amazing what can inspire someone to take necessary action and a serious wake up call was the fact I have been invited to a Charity Ball on Valentine’s Day and deciding I wanted to look my absolute best I went on a dress-trying on exercise and what would normally look nice on looked absolutely hideous on and I was determined that going up to the next dress size was not an option because that is the easy way out of not dealing with the real issue which is being some additional kilos overweight.

Disgruntled and almost bordering on depression I finally had the courage to step onto the scales gracefully thanking my lucky stars that they were not the talking variety where they would have blurted out gleefully “One at a time please!” and shock horror as the scales went well past the 5 or 6 kilos I had lead myself to believe I was over-weight and climbed up to dare I admit it, but 13 kilos. I was almost back to a weight I had started off at 10 years ago.

NO wonder the dresses I had tried on looked hideous. So what to do?
